For some people and projects, only a custom lens will do. But for many, the perfect lens is already available, as a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product. We stock a broad array of COTS mid wave infrared (MWIR), long wave infrared (LWIR) and broadband infrared zoom lenses,which we can customize and integrate to meet your specific needs.

The IR lenses we carry are designed and manufactured both by us, here in the US, and by other reputable companies around the world. In the near future, we will be offering COTS short wave infrared (SWIR) zoom lenses, integrated with cameras for full sensor systems.

Our best selling lens offers an outstanding 20X continuous zoom range from 15 mm to 300 mm and every focal length in between. This lens is specifically designed for the mid-wave infrared (3-5 microns).

PLEASE NOTE: A 2x extender now exists for this lens. If you already own the MWIR 20x 15-300mm, you can now extend the range by a factor of two.

This IR lens is suitable for a 16mm format (12.8mm x 9.6mm) and comes as a stand-alone lens or integrated with a high resolution 640 x 512 x 15 micron sensors. It also features an integrated mounted microcontrolled driving circuit that not only drives the lens but provides temperature controlled operation.

The rugged CIZ features 50 to 200 mm (4X) zoom technology and is continuous across the range.  This lens has been optimized for the mid-wave infrared.

The lens has a field of view of  5 degrees to 20 degrees and features optical compensation to perform the zoom lens. This form of compensation is inherently rugged as it removes the need for cam and cam followers and replaces them with a rigidly locked rail system.
